About Us
George and Carolyn stared the business as twenty-year-old carpenters in 1981 with only a Datsun pickup truck.

George Sagatov – Owner – 31 years construction experience, Master Carpenter,  26 years design and business experience.

Ron – Project Manager with 29 years construction experience, Master Carpenter. Over 20 years with this company.

Gary – Finish Superintendent/Customer Service – 33 years construction experience, Master Carpenter. Over 13 years with this company.

Pat – Bookkeeper/Office Manager over 37 years accounting experience and 6 years with this company. Our only Dallas Cowboys’ fan.

Jose – Master Laborer/Equipment operator/”el #1 Guy” – over 25 years experience working on custom homes, 13 years with this company.

Juan – Paint Foreman with over 31 years experience in custom painting, has been painting our houses for 16 years.

Larry – Master Carpenter with over 31 year’s carpentry experience. Larry has been been doing our finish work for over 13 years.

Carolyn – George’s wife – a 27 year experience, plus.

All the company employees listed above own their own homes, all four project managers grew up in the D.C. area, and all together we have twenty kids.

Interesting Facts

• In all, we completed 14 major houses in the last 3 years alone. That is about one every 10 weeks. Reality was 8 deliveries in 12 months, or every 6.5 weeks. Production schedules are good for a week, 2 at the most.
• We sold $2,335,000 in landscaping to 8 of our clients in the last 2 years. George personally selected the materials in 6 states. In 2000 we started a 6 acre private nursery built around George's home. We have a collection of over 100 Japanese Maples over 40 years old each, 60 boxwoods estimated at 60 years each, all kinds of mature shrubs and trees salvaged from demolitions and produce about 3,500 container shrubs annually from cuttings started in a 56' long commercial greenhouse.
• To our knowledge only four sales over $7,500,000 occurred in our market in 2004 and 2005. We were three of the four.
• Of the last 15 homes we built, 13 had swimming pools, 13 had slate roofs and we built 77 fireplaces, an average of 5 per house.
• We estimate 53 miles of crown moulding pieces were installed in 15 homes; that is 3.35 miles per house.
• Only 1 home had Geothermal heating, a $100,000 upgrade.
• We have our own in-house painters. That is what it takes to get our quality.
