I have designed and built over 80 custom homes in Northern Virginia in the last 18 years. My homes have ranged from genuine mansions of 25,000 square feet to 4,500 square foot authentic estates. I endeavor to create an intrinsic value; an “estate quality” in all my work. I believe the living, breathing house can become greater than the sum of the its’ parts. Thoughtful design creates unique atmosphere.

My designs envision the maximum potential in each property. Landscaping is not an afterthought. I utilize specimen plants from my own nursery.  This nursery is a collection  of established landscape reclaimed  from demolition sites. This treatment instantly gives my projects maturity; an aged patina. My garden designs strategically paint the picture seen from the indoors.

When you wander through my floor plans, everything flows and makes sense. You are stimulated by the sight lines and the movement of natural light. The scale and proportion of the architectural detailing makes rooms interesting; the spaces make you want to be there. If your home speaks to you, I have succeeded.

For the last 10 years my projects have tested, created and established the pinnacle values in Fairfax and Arlington counties. In 2005 we began to incorporate the details and features  of my large estates into smaller designs. For 2009 we are building 3 exceptional custom homes ranging from $1,200,000 to $2,500,000 for individual lot owners.
